Our large hand carved Belsnickel on a base is one of our most popular figures. Belsnickel is a cantankerous figure of folklore who originated from the Palatinate region of southwestern Germany and has become part of Amish culture. Belsnickel visits children in the weeks before Christmas to determine if they have been naughty or nice. Our version of Belsnickel holds individually carved toys (skates, sled and rocking horse) in his hands. Specific toys may, on occasion differ. All items are hand carved, hand painted, signed, dated, and made in the USA. All items are individually hand carved so there may be slight variations on the item you receive.
