Belsnickel is a cantankerous figure of folklore who originated from the Palatinate region of southwestern Germany and has become part of Amish culture. Belsnickel visits children in the weeks before Christmas to determine if they have been naughty or nice. Our small hand carved Belsnickel holds a replica of a German feather tree. Feather trees are made with sanitized goose feathers. The inspiration for this design came from an old candy mold. All items are hand carved, hand painted, signed, dated, and made in the USA.
